Good morning, just finishing up breakfast.Had oatmeal and fruit with toast. A beautiful day in store for us.Company coming at five.Something that we have to deal with. But slowly coming together.I mentioned in on of my blog about our Vegan friend and how it is what to have.Very hard. Mike is doing pasta with eggplant.Dessert will be a bowl of fruit. Heading off to the coast to get our supply of bread. Do you have any Vegan friends that you have to deal with? Tomorrow is a big day for the Leap Year Birthday people. One of them is here and will do a post on him. The photo is mine.

Yes good morning ; the day begins ; people everywhere in the world have their own way of living according to the climatic condition prevailing in each area. The morning meal varies from place to place ; in some places people have abundance of food, in other places limited items and in some other areas there are hardly anything to eat. Availability of food and the habits grown thereafter depend on the economic conditions of the country. Although we live in the same planet at different places, food intake by people is so varied and even surprising that good many theses have been written on the subject. However this is hardly such a forum that allows so grave discussion. Wish happy morning with vegan or non-vegan or with mixture meal to the full contentment of heart.

@amadeo The fact remains that I failed to attend the feedback from the members of my lot. I am now 82 , maintain indifferent health and do not have any enthusiasm to boot the computer. I like to tell you what I eat in the breakfast--it is purely vegan-200 gms double tone milk, two handmade chappatis (made from crushed brown wheat ), 4 pieces dates, a few raisins sometime followed by Chattu ( the skin of bengal gram is peeled off after it is fried dry and then it is ground. However it is available in the local market ). Some variation is made to change the monotony of the breakfast. Like to meet next time and thanks and regards.

Thankfully I don't have vegan friends or family and we're all meat eaters. I'm going to my daughters for dinner and we're having roast beef.....can't wait!

Many years ago, my husband and I had a couple over who were Vegetarians. I made a Vegetarian dish. The visit and dinner went well.
