That same city department that took eight years to grant my David's disability took three weeks to inform me that when the disability went through, the deductions for the life insurance policy ended. So. There is no life insurance, not even the reduced from $20,000 to $5,000. Can you give me another punch in the gut?

Sorry that you are going through this. Did they ever tell you about the deductions? I hate when companies do this to people. They want to take our money but sure don't want to pay out when it is time to, like they make up all these different loop holes to protect themselves from paying. Praying God would supply all your needs.

They made sure healthcare deductions continued. Since deductions were always lumpsummed, they should have questioned us in my opinion.

It is pathetic isn't it? When my mother got cancer and had to go into a facility they ended up taking the family home. Her social security wasn't enough.

That is really terrible. I am so sorry. And the last thing you would feel like doing would be fighting them. And I guess that would be a waste of time anyway. Life is sometimes really unfair.
