I had never heard of silent discos. Last week I did an English exam where there was a text wich exposes this idea. This kind of discos were invented to don't disturb the citizens and don't break the laws about loud noise at certain hours. There, you wear headphones for listening to music. It's a great idea! But...Why? Because it has a lot of advantages: 1) You can adjust the volume to your liking 2) Select music's channel you want to listen 3) If you want to talk with somebody without shouting, you only need take it off 4) Don't disturb the citizens So... You have the same benefits of current discos, without their disadvantages It's a great idea! Isn't it? I don't know if it's so popular in your countries (in Spain no) and you have ever heard of it. Do you think must it become popular? It should be? PHOTO:

The idea sounds reasonable but somehow I can't see it catching on.

I think the same, but It should work. Silent discos don't have the traditionals' disadvantages, but people surely doesn't prefer it.

It doesn't sound like a bad idea. However, I would not want to required to wear it when listening to music. I am not sure that would become popular here in United States.

Yer. There will always be people who like it and people who don't. But it should be both discos.

I don't know if there are some in your city or country. This idea isn't developed enough.
