Down There at the Pawn Shop

This morning, while my girlfriend and I were in Downtown Colorado Springs, we ended up at the pawn shop. We were in need of a new DVD player. We had purchased a $14.00 one from them well over a year ago, and it served us well. We definitely got our money's worth. Today, we found a good one for only twenty bucks , plus a dollar for the 30-day warranty. It's a bit bigger than our last one, but that's not a problem. We can put the TV on this one. So we feel like we scored.

Always great to find buried treasure. On another note. Don't you think they should just play this song on a loop at pawn shops across America. lol

That would rock. The employees would tire of it quickly.

@teamfreak16 Ya, but who cares about them. Just kidding, I kid the pawn shop workers.

@teamfreak16 That is awesome! I recently bought a carpet cleaner / steamer vacuum for Target - it's so useful!

We bought a carpet cleaner there. It's worked pretty well for us, we use it every week or so.

I have bought stuff from pawn shops a few times - sad that people need to pawn goods at such facilities

I pawn my iPod once in awhile if we are about to run out of cat food. I always get it back because I have music on there that I can't afford to replace.

Even if you only get a few months use out of it, sounds like a good deal.

I hope so. I think it should work fine. People don't pawn stuff because it doesn't work, rather, they need the money.
