"How often do you take a bath/shower during summer?" / myLot

Summer is here and we all know that our country is too hot. So, we need to take a bath/shower this days but how often? For me, I'll take a bath during day time 2x and take a shower before bedtime but I'm not going to put shampoo on my hair everyday so that it won't get dry, I'd rather use shower cap and I used lotion to my skin to give nourishment. We need to take a bath daily because we all know, hot season means we perspire and sweat a lot, so we have body odor, to avoid this, we should take a bath. Friends, how often do you take a bath/shower this time?

I've heard how you need to take a shower/bath more than once a day. I usually only need one a day, every day of the year.

I see because if you take a bath more than once a day, maybe you're freezing.

@ida123 I only take a shower. The only time I take a shower more than once a day is when I'm sick, and then yes, it's to get warm.

Some Filipinos bath/shower every morning and before bedtime even rainy days. I usually take a bath/shower once a day if I work/sleep in an air-conditioned room. Twice if no aircon so I could sleep better.

Just what I did, even rainy days I do take a bath in the morning and have a shower before bed time, by doing this we can sleep better.

Every once a day. unless It's hot and I sweat too much then i would take a bath.

Even summer season? Good that you can handle the hotness of our weather now, for us here, we're going to take a bath 2 to 3x a day.

When I lived in Florida I took them twice a day. I usually only need one a day here.

I live in middle east of India, so summer isn't that hot but it's not easy either. I hate the sweaty feeling that summer always brings. So, usually two times a day- in the morning after waking up and at night before going to sleep.

As I am staying in a tropical country, where almost everyday is a hot day, sometimes I take more than 5 time shower a day. I didn't really count. As I am staying at home, working on the house work or cooking, so after every time I do something that make me sweat, then I would go and take a shower. Well, at least one time in the morning, one time before I sleep, one time "real shower with shampoo and soap" in the evening. The rest of the time, I might or might not use soap, but I only use shampoo once a day. It just feels good even just to take a shower to get rid of the sweat and heat from the body.

I would go for 2 to 3 ( at times) and I prefer the "buhos" (dipper bath) over the shower cause shower water is sometimes hot since the pipes are very hot too whereas water in a pail or drum that has been stocked in the bathroom is much colder.

That is true, stocked water from the drum is much colder than the water running from pipes especially noon, the water from pipes is too hot.

If I am in lowland areas, I usually take a bath three times. I can't bear the heat of summer. Since I grew up in city of Pines.

That is true, we're so hot here excluding in your place, the city of Pines where we all know the only cold place in our country, so you have to take a bath 3x a day to overcome hotness if your outside Baguio.
