As the old saying goes write what you know. Some times I am ready to write something that I know .But this is what happens I forgot what I know. And I know I know it but I just can not find what I know.Yes I know this sounds confusing. But if you ever had this happen to you. Then you understand forgetting something you know that you know.

I often start my writing with a memory from my past and wonder what if it had gone differently. I've "penned" some decent short stories that way.

@eagletrek2 That has happened to me also. I'll get the idea something I remember would make a great story but when I try to write it down, nothing will come forth.
