Going to grow sunflowers

I found this at the dollar store today and will attempt to grow it. Its sort of cute, and made for a child (so maybe I can grow it successfully ).

During the summer months I have a big garden outside. During winter months I will do small plants.

When I was teachng 6th grade science I bought a bunch of those for the kids in my classes to grow in class. They were so excited when the first green shoots came up.

I can imagine! I remember in school doing beans then bringing them home to transplant them.
