After feeling like I've been stuck in an unhappy place in my life, and going through let down after let down, I'm hopeful that now is the break I've been waiting for. On Tuesday I found out that my credit score is good and I will qualify for a loan to buy my first home!!! I've found a couple homes I like online, I just hope they're still available when my loan is made up and I'm officially ready to start house hunting. Of course the worry about money that comes with a home purchase is very evident right now, but I'm trying to focus on all my plans! I'd like to foster for my rescue, Paw Promise Animal Rescue, and there is a dog that I've been wanting to adopt for months but can't until I'm in my own place. I'd also like to finally be able to start my pet care business out of my home. And last but not least I've recently begun looking into signing up with the nonprofit "Dogs on Deployment." I will of course limit the number of dogs I have at 1 time, but I hope I can still do a lot of good! My real estate agent is familiar with a program that can get me 4% for a down payment, which would definitely be very helpful and allow me to keep my money in savings. Any tips for a first time home buyer?

My advice: do not buy higher that you can REALLY afford.

Yeah definitely. I think I'm looking in the right price range, but if I ever felt overwhelmed it would be no problem for me to find someone to rent out a spare room for a while. So many people in my area looking for pet friendly rentals, and that'd be me! Lol Thank you!
