Recently, I posted a GAME my grandson and I play in the CAR while we are traveling, so I wanted to share with you some information about a few of the new animals that we recently researched. Desman: One of two different aquatic, insect-eating mammals that live in Southeastern Russia and the Pyrenees. They are related to the shrew. Oryx: A large African antelope, grayish in color with black markings and having long, nearly straight horns. It’s on the endangered species list. Okapi: An African mammal, closely related to and resembling the giraffe, except it is much smaller and has a shorter neck. Tarsier: A small arboreal, nocturnal primate of Indonesia and the Philippines. It has a long thin tail and very large eyes. It is on the endangered species list. Cuscus: Any one of several large nocturnal phalangers that lives in Northern Australia, New Guinea and adjacent islands. It has dense fur, prehensile tail and also large eyes and a YELLOW nose. You can look for these animals online and see what they look like.

I've seen all these bar the first one in zoos. I love the okapi. Like the giraffe, it has a very long tongue.
