I seem to have posted a discussion I regret posting now. I really do need to think more before I bear all. I don't like negative discussions and I had posted a discussion that was depressing. It was nothing really. I just needed to vent. Have you ever posted a discussion you later regretted posting?

Not so far, as most of what I have posted, pertain to things that are happening in my life. I don't regret those at all, as my life hasnt been the best, but I am coping just the same. I only post discussions, that others will be interested in responding to. Don't get upset at yourself though for posting the discusion you wished you hdn't, as it coulden't have been that bad, and you can delete it, which removes it completely along with any responses or comments. That is just a suggestion, as that is the easiest way to take it off the site.

It was actually just how I was feeling for a time. I am almost never like that. I like to be upbeat and happy. I know no one can be happy all the time. For the most part, I am.

@mommaj I try to be too, as being angry or upset, doesn't get me anywhere. I love being in here, and now I know that as long as I am in here, I will have a good day, and be in a good mood.

@rosekiss Here is not the problem. It's dealing with the rest of the world.

i posted a discussion way way back (2007 or 2008) in which i shared too much emotions i guess. they were all true though. some members recently replied to it without noticing the date. but im ok about them asking what happened. although i find that post a bit too much now but it sure did help me posting it at that time. i remember i wanted to let it all out.

@mommaj haha i cant believe myself sometimes being too fragile online but its ok, as long as we get over it the soonest and tell people that it was jusy something we needed to let out from our system. and on to the next discussion..

Exactly. This is a safe place to "let it all out" or vent, but once you are through going through it, it is hard to respond to people. I didn't say what happened, in all honesty I forgot now. LOL The point is my emotions were true at the time, but I am over it. So, it is a little hard to respond to comments and I don't know what to say to a lot of them, but I don't want to just ignore it and move on.

I do not regret anything. If I am in a bad mood, and I want to vent, I sure will feel better after posting the discussion threads.

I do too after I vent. Once the moment has past I am not sure how to answer the responders.

No i haven't posted anything I regretted. I often write them and let them sit for a while before posting, so when I go back to it I can change it if necessary.

That's a good idea. I needed to vent because I was have a rough few weeks. Now things have changed and my post has become popular and I don't know how to respond to the responses because things have changed.

That is what I have been doing. For some reason though, it has became active again. I don't want everyone thinking I am depressed or something and then again I am not sure how to answer the responses because I no longer feel that way.

@paigea Yes it was. I just don't want people to think I am in some sort of depression or something. I am very positive and sometimes even bubbly. I enjoy life. I just had such a bad time of it I needed to vent. I don't like to be negative.

@mommaj Is it the one I just commented on? Sorry about that. I think people respond a lot to that because we all have those days, we all have to find ways to cope. Most of us realize these feelings are temporary. Take care.

At the time I posted, I really needed to vent about real life. LOL The rant helped me, but now that it is over I just didn't know how to respond to others responses. I feel bad, I don't want to just like the comment and move on, because they took time to comment.

A couple of times but not lately. If you regret it delete it...nobody will lose out financially and that's been confirmed by admin. There's a link to what they said somewhere in my deleting discussions discussion.
