Wallpaper and Work

There's a challenge going around about sharing our devices wallpaper so I thought "why not" and wanted to share mine here. However, I can't really elaborate more than a sentence on the subject so I wanted to combine the share of my wallpaper with talk about work. This was pretty, and I loved the sky so I chose it. I don't remember where this is. I previously had a picture of a castle in Belgium. It was also very beautiful. Ok so that's done... Onto work I told you before that people never last in my department, right? Well I am right. Two of the new people either transferred or quit. One was transferred to another department within our store and the other guy just quit. I think he mentioned something about full time work somewhere else. I only worked with him twice. Anyway, I can't say that I blame him. Oh but my manager has essentially asked me to come back to three days per week. I worked three days this week and I'll work three days next week (our weeks run wednesday - tuesday). He is talking about me breaking down the trucks every week after a co-worker moves out of State. Meh, I just don't know. Right now I am the best choice. The only other eligible one works another job and I don't think he'd want to break the truck down anyway. The managers (grocery manager and assistant grocery manager) can't because they have to stay until atleast 7 am when the upper managers come in to work. Sometimes I wanna "take this job and shove it." While other times I'm perfectly happy with it. We really do need more people on the team, or a different way of doing things. My manager says he comes from a store where they broke down the truck different than us and they stocked different than us. It made work go a lot faster and easier. Why don't we do it? Good Question

I thought it might be you. It seems as if all of the photo challenges are started by you.

That is a good question; why not do it the better way?

Not completely sure but I think mainly because the uppers don't like the idea.

@paigea Sometimes I think if the associates were in charge things would be much different. It seems once they climb the ladder, the managers forget about the reality of the situation.

these days seems no one does anything the best or easiest way. sometimes i wonder how things got so crazy from when i was young.

Well that in combination with the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.. sometimes you just want to pull your hair out.

You would think if there was a better way than you would be doing it.

I Am not sure that we have enough people per truck night for it to really work. My manager also comes from a store where the department was much bigger. I've been told several times (We've had grocery managers come and go) that we are one of the smallest teams (of people) in the chain.

It's tiring I guess to go for extra days on job. I hope you cope up with it.

It's also a matter of getting used to it again. I don't know that I want to do three days though. I feel as if I hardly have time for myself as I am always recovering from the work day.
