Oh hubby. You got me laughing. I wish he hadn't remembered this but he did.
Eggplant. Innocent eggplant. One person is determined the dumb thing is purple and the other determined its black. Let the hair fly! Yank that hair off the head, at least verbally. OMG on family history. He could have said the sky was green tonight but no. He had to bring up a bit of family lore. Just call me mean and purple.

I don't get what an eggplant has to do with bringing up family history. It sounds like the history he brought up doesn't give you any pleasure?

@sallypup Well of course, and you're right it's usually things that give us angst, but I just don't get the correlation between the eggplant and the other.Or, maybe you're using the eggplant as an example?

@MarshaMusselman Its a family memory story. Another time we had a blow out and that was a huge blowout over a board not being measured correctly. Its an example and yet its a trueism.
