Random Word Post – rotter

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “rotter – Chiefly British slang, A worthless or objectionable person.” There was a British show a couple of years ago called In the Flesh, about zombies who – with medication – can return to some semblance of their lives. I’m pretty sure that the humans who didn’t like them referred to them as rotters, which I took to as meaning their decaying flesh, but perhaps there was a deeper layer to it.
