Sometimes we get so obsessed with our past achievements in life, that we refuse to look further.
Each moment brings new phase to life.
Boasting of past laurels is great, but what if get stuck there and not realize we need to go forward.
It could be true for a sportsman, an actor or any professional.
Past laurels are for motivation, I feel and not for obsession.

This is so true, okay to everyone schould be proud of all of their achievements - however we need to be looking to the fucture and planning how to reach our next goals too.
Personally I get itchy feel, I'll be excited about my success for a couple of days - the it's old news and I'm planning and fighting for the next challenge.
I thrive for goals, and if I have none I get fedup.

You have a good point. We shall move on and who knows we can have more achievements on our way.
