Sometimes we get so obsessed with our past achievements in life, that we refuse to look further. Each moment brings new phase to life. Boasting of past laurels is great, but what if get stuck there and not realize we need to go forward. It could be true for a sportsman, an actor or any professional. Past laurels are for motivation, I feel and not for obsession.

This is so true, okay to everyone schould be proud of all of their achievements - however we need to be looking to the fucture and planning how to reach our next goals too. Personally I get itchy feel, I'll be excited about my success for a couple of days - the it's old news and I'm planning and fighting for the next challenge. I thrive for goals, and if I have none I get fedup.

@avi256 I think it's lazyness, I have achieved my goal that's me done now. It's silly really coz if they done so well in the last imagine what they would achieve if they keep working on their skills.

@DaintyD Yes, the fact that achieved so much is indicative that they can achieve more in future. Its the mindset that need to shift from boasting past to working for future.

@avi256 I couldn't agree more, people get stuck in the past without realising times have changed

You have a good point. We shall move on and who knows we can have more achievements on our way.

If James Cameron had got stuck after super success of Titanic, he couldnt have made another epic Avatar. So, yes, maybe something big could be in store,.
