Hello everyone, for those who don't remember me my name is Kenya or drknlvly, and I just recently found out that MyLot is an earnings site once again! I was very happy to see that some of the old admin came back and brought the aspect that made this site special...selfish as it sounds lol.
I actually saw this notification and learned earninings are back about a month ago; however I'm having a bit of trouble of getting back into the groove of things. I see there are no categories any more, so we just start a conversation where it stands, huh? I really hope they bring the categories back; that really helped to find discussions that I most likely would be interested in and could participate.
And also, what about the types of discussions? Are there things that are off limits, except bad language and things that are negative views of other people. But are we allowed to flat out promote through discussion? If not, is there a limit to what we do or is it strictly not allowed?
Finally, where are all of my friends? How many of you remember me from good ol' 2007 when this was the place to chat every day? I would love to see LambyPie, or whatever he goes by these days lol. Please comment below if we are already friends so I can clean up my friends list!
I also want to hear from newbies and people who just don't know me and everyone really! What tips do you have for this new design?

There are a few people on here that you'd recognise.
One that you've mentioned is still about with a different name

main thing, if you're here for the earnings, is to realise it's opposite to old mylot.
Back then you earned for what YOU wrote.
Now it's the opposite, you earn depending on the value others place on your post through interaction.
What I mean by that is your discussion will have earned you nothing until it was interacted with by us responding.
You'll make money from our responses....we'll earn a little when you get back to us.

@Mike197602 Thanks for the information! I see Mr. JJ responded right after you did! lol It will take a bit to get the hang of, but I actually like the style of earnings. Not only do you now have to put thought into your posts, but you have to have people interact. Maybe this is what Old MyLot was missing when the earnings first took a hit.

As GAA seems to listen when I come up with my own emoticon in your honour I'll suggest it...you have a lot of friends but also some detractors so maybe you deserve 2 emoticons...one maybe a sheep being decapitated by someone with a machete

Welcome back. I am not sure if I have ever seen you or not. I started in 2008, so I suppose our paths did cross a few times. I was here until 2013, when I left for two years. I came back in Augist last year, and it was then that I saw that they were paying again. When I saw that, I was very happy. I have been here almost everyday since coming back. Just recently, the mylot site was changed, to what you see now, and I love it as it loads faster and I also like the drop down menus where everything is together so I don't have to search all over for wha I am wanting to find.

Hi, yes I believe we were connected. I see you have been answered about promoting and also about the Lamb. Many would tell you that we earn by giving, because generally when we interact with people the do the same with us.

This is wonderful. Everyone that I have been seeing so far were always good to respond before anyway...keeping the conversation going. I'm going to keep this thread going as long as I can, then use it to cull down my friends list. figured that would be the best way to get a head start. Plus with hearing about the earnings it will work even more in our favor to do so!
