Summer heat is upon us

What we should be experiencing around May is already here. The heat is unbearable. Feel like standing under the shower whole day through and quenching my thirst getting hold of any thirst quenchers. Wonder what's in store until it starts raining around June. What's your weather like?

We are having a spell of unusually warm weather for our area for this time of year, but not the kind of heat you describe. I am glad for the warm sunny days as things are finally starting to dry out from the winter rains.

bless yer heart, i'm hopin' ya send some'f that heat this way 'n it sticks, lol. could surely use the rain though...what a toss up, eh? hopefully the weather'll be kind to ya 'n those rains'll be gentle 'n plentiful.

@allknowing that kinda heat usually hits here 'bout june 'n sometimes don't makes its departure 'til october. i'm hopin' fer no prolonged triple digits'n these parts this summer. jest hopin' the rains come coz they're predictin' 'em to be far'n few between come august.

Right now, it is heavy raining outside. But I have to agree with you. This time the winter season, cold days were last hardly for a week. Heat started in the month of February itself. Today since morning it was cloudy and not it is pouring down. Some comfort from the heat. I wonder how it will be in the month of May-June, the most hot days are storied for us on this time. Usually February and March are cold days for us.

In the Philippines, or a part of it in North Mindanao, it is day three of a full day's hot sun. I am counting the days since the last rains that spoiled the onset of summer season which is supposed to officially start in March every year. I am grateful for the break in spite of the burning heat that I really hate, break from the muddy fields and damp laundries hanging to dry in the cold air.

Thinking of rains in June is expecting too much unless you live in Kerela. Yes its getting very hot day by day, and that too in March. May I know what part of country you live in?
