Money is a great motivation factor. You work because you will earn money, you study because you will earn money. If you want to quit addiction because you think it is a wastage of money and you want to save money by quitting, that's really good. Sadly some people get motivated by money in negative way, for instance, when looking for the right partner, they give money more priority than compatibility issue.

Money and compatibility can be taken together in choosing the right partner. It's nice to have a partner whom you are financial compatible with.

@vinayaG, I think finding the right partner is about compatibility. I think over time, money management in a relationship is important in keeping relationship going strong.

I think most people don't factor in money when seeking romance. Not in wanting a rich partner.
