Produce out of the country or in country? For me I rather buy the produce that is grown in my country. Plus since my area has farms in the county there a lot of fresh produce like very good sweet corn on the cob. Strawberries I rather get in this country then out of the country . Do not know what the laws are for other countries that grow stuff. At least I know what my country laws are so I kind of know were to be safe. OK that it for now.

I avoid any produce from a foreign country and try avoiding any canned or packaged good from a foreign country. Some countries like Canada are "safe" but I don't trust 3rd world countries.

I try to buy UK and Irish stuff when possible but sometimes they are out of season or not grown here so there's no choice but to buy from other places.

That is exactly why I won't buy meat or produce at Walmart as they come from other countries and those countries are not as strict on their laws as here, also for the fact that on the boats you don't know what else is coming in with them.

Here in Canada, we have a very short growing season so we have no choice of buying things from other warm countries.
