The three "S" in the morning / myLot

Sights. Sounds. Smells. Living in the province, these three are always present in the morning. Sights. From my window, i can see the birds flying. My neighbor is watering his garden while the other one is busy cooking.breakfast. Sounds. The birds chirping. The man on his bicycle selling bread with the "potpot" (horn). Clink clank of the tools while a jeepney driver is fixing his source of income (he should.hire a mechanic, he is doing that everyday). Smells. Fried dried fish, rice is fried too with a lot of garlic, yum! That sauteeing too. And aroma of the.coffee. Indeed it is now morning. I forgot.one "S", the SUN. Happy Tuesday morning everyone! Do you have any 3 "s" too in the morning?

I have all. Is that the hotel in La Union? That is a picture I saw in a friend's FB account. Do you see that when you open your window and look out?

@ridingbet some hotels are really destroyed by the earthquake that was is found in navy base :)

@Lucky15 wow! The Baguio city I remember had the Notre Dame de Lourdes hospital on a hilltop and also the Hilton hotel which went in rumbles during that earthquake last 1991. The hospital was where we had our 3 weeks OR and NICU exposure on a Christmas week, only 8 of us classmates from a batch of 35.

Not much of sound here except for the chirping of countless birds - thanks to my garden which is set up for them with all what they want. Sun never lets us down nor do I have anything less to see thanks again for what I have created around here.

Your photo is lovely. It is Monday evening here, but still is daylight. I see the shadows stretching across the fields. I hear birds, and cars passing by. I smell the things I was cooking earlier, onions, garlic, mushrooms, potatoes, and chili.

I went to bed just as the SUN was about to come up, so the SIGHTS were all in the dark and rain as I made my way home after taking my son to work, and then SLEEP soon called my name.
