I just check the help in myLot Community Guidelines and I don't know if mylot is accepting downloaded image to use in a post. If yes you must credit the owner or copy the link where you downloaded it ? curios user here! don't wanna get banned in mylot

Hello , I think it's better for us to give the image credit. Have a nice day :)

I only use my own pictures to be safe. Sometimes I use screenshots and it's obvious where I get it. I do not get screenshots of images anyway just texts.

There are some sites like Wikimedia commons where images are free for use but you must credit the owner of the image.. For this you must copy paste the page link that has all the details. This you can paste in the slot provided next to your photo upload.

Well, I just came back here last January. I am not sure which either of the options you had mentioned. It is not also clear in the guidelines if there is an appropriate way. For me, it is safer to use the image link.

If the photo is in the Public Domain (Eg Pixabay, Wikimedia etc) it is fine to use it. I always state where it comes from, just to be safe.
