The Best Ways to Relax

Some persons work long hours and don’t have a lot of time to relax. But there is a NEED for you to relax, even if it is only for fifteen minutes at a time.
Employers are REQUIRED to give breaks to their employees in the USA, usually a morning break and an afternoon break, in addition to a lunch break. But, instead of using that time to relax and clear their mind, most workers use it to smoke a cigarette or make personal phone calls or take care of personal business, even on their lunch break.
Sometimes, that may be necessary. In fact, I don’t see how 9 AM to 5 PM workers get personal things accomplished. Nevertheless, your breaks, if possible, should be used to unwind a little bit, instead of anything else you might feel you have to do.
A fifteen minute break can be a LIFE-SAVING exercise, because it can relieve STRESS. Stress affects your heart in ways that you might not understand.
So, learn how to relax. Drink a glass of water. Listen to some nice, soft music. Take a short walk and think about pleasant things, during your break.
Stay-at-home Moms or Dads need to do this also. Teach your children to sit quietly for a while or to take a nap, so you can have a break. A cup of tea, some soft music will help you relax.
I hope you take this advice to heart. It’s good for your HEART. Remember that.

@IreneVincent I'd put milk in the fridge in the staff room and leave my car keys on top so I wouldn't forget it.
