Its scary to be alone

Being an independent woman , I always thought that I can live with or without a partner in life because I know I can still survive. But, today's event at work made me realize that maybe its a good thing to have a partner or even just a child of my own to take care of me when I get sick or to help me if ever I get into financial trouble becuase I am not rich. At work, I have a colleague that is already a spinster and she needs to be admitted for possible IJ catheter insertion and hemodialysis but the problem is her finances is not doing well and she dont have relatives to take care of her and support her needs. So,her friends took the initiative to get her admitted in the hospital. With that my other co workers were telling me to go find a partner already , or if I dont want to get married then just gave birth and have a child so I will have someone when I grow old. I told them I dont have the financial capability to raise a child of my own and they told me that money will show up . I do recognize that I might end up being alone in this world as I am very dedicated to my family. But who knows I might find him someday or maybe I am destined to be alone but still it is scary to think of the possibilities when you really need someone to be with you at a certain time.
