Random Word Post – office boy

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “office boy – A boy hired to run errands or do odd jobs in an office.” So a precursor to an intern. I wonder if they started using intern to get away of the sexist nature of office boy/girl.
