Earth Hour 2016

Earth hour is today, March 19, 2016 between 8:30PM and 9:30PM in our local time zone. This is a worldwide event that marks the tenth year of the campaign to unite the people of the world to protect our Mother Nature and the planet. We should turn off our lights and get involved of the earth hour campaign in each of our country. Any thoughts?

We're going to turn off our lights at 8:30P.M. to 9:30 P.M. We better unite this campaign to protect our Mother Earth.

Our village participate to the Earth Hour from 8:30 to 9:30 PM. I think that there is a lot to do to protect our Earth. First of all I think that we should stop wasting. We are producing too much waste around the world.

Yes we will participate and will turn off lights that are connected to the grid but we also have solar so some parts of the house will still have lights

@Macarrosel I plan to expand it later so that I would be independent from Meralco ( Electric company) at least for my lighting

I didn't know this. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to participate the activity. Since I can't cancel my online classes. But I closed all the lights and rely to sunlight while having the classes.

We do our part to save the planet. We will be in a restaurant that will use candle light for one hour. We've done it before.

A good practice. It does not only protect Mother Earth & the Planet. We also get to save some pennies with 1 hour of no lights.
