Alternative Sources of Electricity

Electricity produced by traditional means using fossil fuels is warming up the earth at a tremendously high rate. It is high time that Governments the world over, start looking for other means of producing Electricity like the "Power of the Wind" and "Solar Energy". There is a lot of progress in this, but much more needs to be done.

Here in my country, we have the so-called salt lamp. It is an alternative lighting and is made up of salt and water.

Yes, probably some teething problems may be there, but we should not leave hope. Here in India too, wind power is being used to generate electricity.

Yes, very much true. Even the use of LED lamps will save the consumption of conventional energy which in turn will help in reducing global warming.
