New roof on our house.

The snow left and the roofers came today. They are up there now on the roof taking the roofing stuff off first. They sure do make a lot of noise while they are up there. We were going to leave but changed our minds. Hopefully they will get the new roof on today to. Than they will be done.

The noise is a pain in the neck to put up with, but you will be very happy after when it's done.

@marlina The moving was fine. We found a house in three days and the owner wanted thirty days to get out when we had cash. The hotel was sold that we were going to stay in and that one would not take cats It has been a nightmare. We are staying with my cousins who are not good housekeepers. My wife cleaned their house from top to bottom. They waste food. It drives my wife crazy because she does not like waste.

You will be lucky if they can finish that in one day - I'm sure workmen in England wouldn't be able to do it. Good luck.

My son put a new roof on our house last year and it took a couple of day, he hired someone to help him to make the job be done faster.

I know what you mean about the noise they can make. My parents had their roof replaced once and I was over visiting that day. It was really horrendous.
