I guess I'll wrap this up now. The 3rd time was the charm, except... Well, it took until January of 2000 to finally be released from my surgeon's care. He wanted to be sure I had no further complications of the surgery. Now... I did like having smaller, boobs, a lot. However, I think he reattached the nipples a little high. I guess if that's about my only complaint I am doing pretty good. I do have one really funny story about all this, but it doesn't have anything to do with the actual surgery, well, sort of. At that time I was living with Maggiepie and was just good friends with my now roomie. My friend, Elaine, wanted the details of the surgery, but Maggie had just come into the room and I knew she was beyond squeamish. I told Elaine I'd tell her another time, but Maggie insisted that she was fine and to go ahead and tell her. I warned Maggiepie, again, that she probably didn't want to hear this, but she continued to insist. So, I started. "First, they remove the nipples..." At which point Maggie gave a weird sound and gathered her, quite ample boobs, protectively into her arms. Needless to say, I broke down and laughed and laughed. I told her, between giggles, that she hadn't wanted to hear this.
