Peri Peri Fries Or Normal Fries?

I just finished my fries that came with my takeaway and it was the first time I opted to try the peri peri flavour. It had a spicy peri seasoning with some peri peri sauce on it and it was really nice! It tasted light and not too hot that I was reaching for the water every few seconds. I think I will be ordering the peri peri fries again next time instead of normal fries. Have your tried them before and which do you prefer?

It is a seasoning that they put that is like a salt but instead of salt it is peri peri seasoning.

It is quite big in UK as we have a restaurant chain called Nandos that does peri peri food.

LOL It is the cheaper version as Nandos do charge a lot! it was lovely :D

I do not eat them although I had some chips in the fish and chips shop yesterday because I had my grand children and they wanted fish and chips for dinner!

I've never heard of these fries before, where do you get them? I love spicy food and this sounds like something I would enjoy.

I am in the UK so we have Nandos and many asian take out places that offer peri peri fries.

Most peri peri/piri piri sauces are way too hot for me. I've got a bottle of ultra hot sauce for some reason and even the tiniest bit is way too hot. Sometimes I add the smallest amount and can still feel the burn. {I'm not great with very hot spices.

I used to be able to take the hottest sauces and be fine, but lately I am no longer strong enough for the hot sauces!!

Like a salt seasoning but peri seasoning instead and some peri sauce on the side. Spicy seasoning :D

Ah... Peri Peri spice... It definitely brings back memories of my childhood. I am totally in favour of Peri Peri fries. They are really tasteful. Yum. :)

I have never tried that before. Kids love to have normal fries in Macdonalds. Me too like normal fries. will try peri peri next time.
