Random Word Post – whispering campaign

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “whispering campaign – An organized effort to discredit a person, group, cause, etc., by rumors and gossip.” So Twitter. No, wait, it said organized. Also I guess it’s more of a shouting campaign. Or would that be politics as usual?
