Why should I get free stuff?
It's my birthday, that's why.
March 22 is my birthday, and normally it would just be another day. Honestly, it still is just another day; but now that I lnow that there are places that will give you free food I'm a little more willing to go out.
Its better than when my classmates would get money pinned to their shirts by other classmates on their birthday, but I never had that happen to me. I wasn't very popular back then, still not, difference is I don't care anymore.

I will never put candles on my cake at my upcoming Birthday in June. It is hard to accept I will turn 31. I remember how happy I was on my 18th birthday because it means I am an adult....

@TheDemonicAngel Even if I can reverse my age by healthy lifestyle or technology, The numbers are still there.

My Birthday is in the summer, I don't recall any classmates getting money pinned to them though. Happy Birthday.
I like going to the MExican restaurants and getting a fried ice cream or something, but I hated the song and dance.

I absolutely HATE when they sing happy birthday cuz most the time they are off key and its more annoying than anything. But if I can get a free dessert out of it I may have to put up with it.

@TheDemonicAngel IT's more about embarassment as it draws attention from other tables. My friends used to do it to me but we've since gone to other places for birthday supper's.

Happy Birthday to you! It is still the 21st here pst ~ but I think where you're at, it's the 22nd! Hope you have a great birthday! During my birthday month (June) I am subscribed to all kinds of places/restaurants I enjoy eating and they always send emails.
