My daughter finally got a maid. But today, 3 days after the lady came to work for the first time, she has to go to a doctor´s appointment with my older granddaughter and they cannot take Sofia. I volunteered to go to her house and just play with her and see that she eats well her lunch. My daughter did not want to bother me, but I think that is dangerous to leave a 5 year old in the hands of someone that yoi have known for 3 days. What do you think?

I agree I wouldn't leave my kids with a maid I've know for 3 days if it was 3 months then yeah sure if I had no boy else to watch my kids.

@marguicha so it's a good thing if she needs help you are there to help. My parents live down the street from us so does my husbands mom and step dad, the kids great grandparents as well, we have lots of family near by that if we every need someone really bad to watch our kids any of them would take care of our three,

@ShyBear88 I feel it is a good deal. Everyone lives at their own place, vut they are there when needed.

Better to be safe. If I'm in your place, I'll still go there though my daughter does not want me to be bothered. It would remove my worries as well.

Of course! And even if part of it means more work, it also fills my life in a very special way.
