Fun Facts About Easter

Alice Henry has suggested that we write an article each day about fun facts. It would give us something to post about every day. I have chosen to do a fun fact about Easter. Did you know that the tallest chocolate Easter egg ever was made in 2011 in Italy. It was 10.39 meters high, and weighed 7,200 kg. This egg was taller than a giraffe and weighed more than an elephant. I can't imagine anyone wanting one that big. It surely must have taken a lot of chocolate. I guess the old question, "How do you eat an elephant" would be appropriate here and the answer: "One bite at a time."

It is exact, it has been made in the north of Italy, nor far from where I live. It was made by Tosca of Cremona (Italy), here is a photo of the big egg.

Yep, one bite at a time is the best answer. That is big.

I love chocolate, but even that sounds like too much of it for me!

Can you imagine how we would look, if we ate even a portion of that.
