What Makes you quit a TV show you watch?

I quit watching a TV show lost after I got upset when they killed my favorite character on the show named Shannon. I was so mad when she got killed because it is her that drives me to watch the show.
I quit watching Smallville because I got bored of the Idea that the show has been around a decade but Clark still refuse to wear the Superman outfit. The show is too slowpaced for my liking.
I quit watching the Anime Hunter X Hunter because I got upset when the character Kurapika killed Pakunoda. I really like the character Pakunoda and the death of the character made quit the show.
I quit watching American Idol because they can't make stars anymore. They dont help the careers of winners and runner ups. Their singing careers just flop. Also the 5 white guys with guitar winners in a row made the show stale.
I'm considering to quit watching Agent's of Shield because I found the first season of the show lackluster.
I almost quit The walking Dead when I thought Glen died, but I started watching again because he is alive.
What are the TV shows you use to watch religiously that you decided to stop watching?

I have quit shows because I have lost interest or the writing turns bad. Some shows go on and on to the point you begin thinking where's this going?

SO you hate it when it gets predictable? That is the reason why I was not able to commit with smallville. We all know where it is going to lead to and it is slowpaced as heck.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Not so much predictable but the writers painting themselves into a corner like with Lost or stories become stale retreads.

There's one local soap that i was watching and following through iWantTv last month that i stopped watching . Why ? Because it seems the protagonist is already being beaten the antagonist . I would again watch it , when she's the one already winning in the soap .

@SIMPLYD Is she the missing daughter of a rich person? did she grow up in poverty? Are the actors playing her parents too young to be her parents? is her love interest a rich man with a snob of a mother?

i quit watching House because i didnt find it interesting after around 10 episodes.
before i start downloading the first few episodes of a tv series, i do my research first and House was the last one i did. so far thats the only show that i dropped from my list.

The only reality show I can tolerate watching if my favorite gets eliminated is Survivor. I wont rewatch the season though if I hate the winner. If I like the winner, I watch the season more than one times.
I quit a season of Amazing race the moment my favorite is gone.

Have you seen the movie remake of Bewitched?
What was the local Swiss television like? I do watch some foreign television that is not American. I watch Japanese shows with English subtitles and I also love some Canadian shows.

@CaptAlbertWhisker The Swiss television is not very good, there are only two Italian channels, three French and all the others are in German language. We watch the TV very little, we usually watch movies on DVDs.

I realized I stopped watching the Bachelor because I quit it, I stopped watching because it stopped airing in my country. My last season is with the Italian Prince.

It's been so long since I've watched regular TV that I really couldn't name any television shows offhand. However, I usually stop watching if A character who leaves the show, or if they replace the character with someone else.

Oh yeah, i hate it when they replace characters with someone who is not even interesting. the show doesnt feel the same if a beloved character is gone without closure.

I also quit watching the American version of the voice because the coaches only uses the show to promote their own music career and not the winners and runner ups Just look at what happened to the season one winner and runner up. Their music career didnt
I think Korean Dramas are now stale and obsolete in the Philippines, I notice most Filipinos preferred Filipino dramas now.
