Ugh my poor 14 month old can't even eat anything cooked in peanut oil p. He'll start to break out into a rash. We know he can't have peanuts or peanut butter but we thought he would be okay with peanut oil but nope the poor little guy. So this means no chick fa la for him since he can't eat much of anything there. My older two kids will be sad. They going there when we can or for a soecial treat. I told my husband will have to take them every now and then with out the baby so they can have some. We can only hope our little bug out grows this in a few years.

That is so awful. My grandson developed an allergy to shellfish last year when he was five. His mother has a peanut allergy, too, but can have peanut oil. Allergies are awful! I hope he can outgrow his, poor baby.

Allergies suck. I'm allergic to,stuff but not to that degree, I'm not suppose to eat eggs because I'm allergic to them. It I eat them ans have no reaction unless I rub it in my skin.

@DianneN most of my allergies have to do with my body oil it has a reaction to that. Like animals if they lick my skin and the smallest of cuts get there slivia in it I will start itching like crazy. So for eggs its the same way my body oil and the eggs in contact with each other cause me to itch.

@ShyBear88 That is strange. Eat them, but don't rub it in your skin!

In think Milk is the worse.nMilk is in a tone of things we eat daily. Yes peanut allergies are hard he also has an egg allergy but he can eat eggs alone but if it's cooked in baked goods and stuff he is fine.

Bummer. I'm not sure if peanut allergies go away with time or not.

They can if you are really young but it doesn't happen for all kids. any allergy can change with time and environment.

That is really sad how some kids, can't eat peanuts, my grand daughter can't eat shrimp, or any kind of shell fish she won't be able to breath, I am glad her mother found this out, and let me know about this, my grand daughter loves her hamburger and chicken.

The young you are when it happens the more likely you will put grow it but it's not the case for everyone.
