Is God really good all the time?

Photo I took of the oldest church still standing but being renovated inside.. The facade is striking, I hope they keep it .. It's located in Daraga, Albay in Legaspi City, Philippines ..

It is mind boggling to me why people who claim to be guided by the same God and who proclaim that God is on their sides, God will not forsake them, and that only God knows the truth and therefore the truth will set them free, put their God in a compromising situation.
Two warring parties claim to have God on their sides. Can they not see that they are proving their God a Big Liar? Or is their God really so mucked up and cruel to put his two devoted followers in a situation where they create chaos not only to themselves but also to others whose peace got disturbed? Is their God doing it on purpose to see his devoted followers in chaos, because only in times of chaos that people call upon him more?
It's like watching cocks fighting and God owns both roosters. The winning rooster altho bruised will say, "God is good all the time. To God be the glory".. The looser will ask, "My God, why have you forsaken me?..
Are you with my boggled mind? Or am I just thinking this way because I don't go to church therefore I could be insane?
But whatever you think of me after reading my lamentation for God's devoted followers, here is what I know for sure..... The truth will set me free. My truth is the only thing that can set me free.

My view - God did not come and tell anyone that I am on your side.
And we humans have started abusing that God of theirs by claiming that God is on their side. Many do this just because they know, God is not going to come to prove if they are right. And why should He? He might be busy with many other things at hand... who knows.

@epiffanie To me, My God is always IT. I have never seen God but I have experienced Its presence manya times and It mostly can be reached via the deeds that we do, or others do for helping us.

Why do you worry so much about them, when you should worry your own. It's true that people ask god why when they're suffering but say god is good when they're having a good life. I don't think GOD is to blame for what's happening to the world, he gave us free will and we have this society as we see it now. we have to pray for thanks for what we still have and ask forgiveness for what terrible things we have done. there's a huge why despite our likeness / images of him we created this way. and only he knows it.

I refuse to say that i have done terrible things because I've never ever done anything to harm anyone .. Therefore I have no reason to ask for "forgiveness" .. I don't buy into that guilt trip religions want us to feel.. But yes, I feel deeply grateful for the experience of life .. and I'm not really that worried about how people worship their chosen Gods .. I just question it because I can see how it is affecting humanity as a whole .... that's all ..

Oh , so you also visited Daraga church when you had your vacation here ? That's the church where we attend Sunday masses . I also had attached lots of pictures of that church here . 
Anyway , to me God is good all the time . We may have trials , but still he is always by our side when it seems we cannot take it anymore .

@epiffanie Yes, it is that organized inside . You should have also visited our hometown's church . It's old style outside but modern inside .
