A typhoon just passed us by yesterday, Bagyong Milenya if I'm not mistaken. Manila took a direct hit, and I think some parts of the Metro still have no eletricity as of now. Yesterday I think Luzon was out of power.
The good news is, tomorrow's Saturday. Saturday's are always good news, unless there's work to do.

That's right! Some places though only got power back after one week, if you could believe that.

Hi, Im from The Phils. where are you? are you an immigrant there or working visa? climate here are crazy, like just now before night is raining hard, while at noon is a scratchy sun. my children are with fever recently because of the change of temperature. politics....... still the same face... but still Filipinos even in the times of hardships there are still living with dignity still honest to return thousands of pesos or even dollars to those who lost them.

other filipinos here in our neighbor are displaying their christmas decorations..... where are you working in abroad? how is your day? my husband and i are planning that he should apply abroad, because talagang pahirap na ng pahirap ang condition namin dito, tell me where are you, para makapagtanong naman ako kung paano ang buhay dyan...

Nakakatuwa at madami-dami na ring mga Pinoy dito. Sana this becomes a venue where we can actually show the rest of the community that we have the team-spirit, that we are proud of who we are and our country, kahit ano pang nangyayari dito sa ating bayan. Bakit, kahit saan ka namang bansa magpunta, hindi perfect. Kaya't kung Pinoy ka, ang the best ay magpakatotoo.

she's (rainy_dazed) just doesnt know that Filipina have brains like you do... we may be a poor country and most of our filipina they sacrifice and tried to go on a higher ground to survive in the name of their FAMILY. and you (rainy_dazed) you have oppurtunity to a much good life why waste it? Look at us, we are from all over the world in every country there are Filipina who are either Domestic Helper or Caregiver, we sacrifice to be away from our family just to provide good life for them. and you..... your just have this spite feeling towards filipina who maybe working for you... remember that were human too... talk to her.... but if you already build up a very spiteful relationship to this Filipina, I'm telling you... She's way out of your league... and by the way your post SUCKS

IndiaBefore I answer this question, I like to think about, why this thread was created ? And what was the real motive for this question? When I find nothing wrong, immediately I prefer to answer. However I like questions on science and politics but don't ignore other members requests. I'm thankful to mylot for giving such opportunity to share our views with international members.

I do not think you're a Filipino. I have a Filipina girl and she certainly wouldn't say "response" but rather use the right tense.

I head a call center in Makati, anyone wants an "in"? I like Filipinas wh are proficient (most of them are) in English and who have that great accent! I know that some who claim to be Filipinas really aren't by the way :) Filipinas are one of the most proficient English speakers and they are sooo clean (bathe like 3x a day! ) Can't the heck say that for some "UDERS". I really dunno what's your problem. I'm a pure Filipina by blood. If there are some mistakes with my tenses well english is not my first language. Please stick your butt to your call center in Makati because I would rather have my brain working than sitting there and answering calls. If ever you have some problems with my English I would say "maybe" u are very bad in Maths...hahaha
