I saw his name and may he rest in peace.

I just found out that this guy has passed away. He was a guy that I don't believe I really talked to but I saw his name everywhere. He was a big fan of a vlogger called Charles Trippy and his channel CTFXC and there is a group page for fans 18+ on facebook. So, on that group page and youtube, his comments were there. I saw his name everywhere and he was such a sweet guy and really brought life to the group. It was such a shock because he talked about needing to go to the hospital about his shunt and then we were updates from members in the group. He was such a strong guy that we all believed that in a day or two he would have brought his smile and would have had the marathon the ctfxc vlogs. He participated in everything, any video made for Charles and bought all the merch, he was such a sweet guy. I cried because I felt like he was a family member. I saw his name so much but I never talked to him. I think I spoke to him once or twice but not as much as some members have. May he rest in peace and my thoughts are to his family.

Interesting to read how relationships are built online without physical contact and hardly any interaction with others except for name recognition. Sorry for your loss, I guess??

@DesirousDreamer crazy. I guess this online thing brings people together in ways many cannot explain.

It is really interesting. Even though I had no close connection with him at all, but I felt like I knew him for years.

@Cintronwriter It really is crazy. But I like it. It kind of gives that high school vibe in a way. You see people in the hallways, you might even know their name but never talk to them and if you hear their name your ears perk up and think, "hey I know that person" and are proud of them if they win something or whatever. I don't know, that is just what it reminds me of.

A significant person in life. He must have had a good and positive influence on you. You carry that energy here in your discussion. It is sad to lose someone but a joy to recall that person having touched your soul.

It is so odd because I never really talked to him but I knew him so well. He was a good guy and lit up every room. He wasn't just some guy on the internet, he was a part of a family.

@lookatdesktop Thank you, as do I. Need to give people time to grieve and mourn.

That's sad. I'm sure he will be missed. It's difficult losing someone we feel an attachment to.

Indeed, it is really weird because I was not too attached to him but it is still so sad because I saw him everywhere.
