Necessity is the mother of inventions is what many say and I find this to be very true in many situations in life. The majority of people are not earning as much as they wither would like to or as much as they need to. A very small amount of people are actually not hurting for money in this day and age. It however is not always a bad thing being poor teaches you how to be less wasteful and more frugal as well as creative. So here are a few that I know if you sat down and gave them some thought aren't really that special but still worth sharing. Problem:You cook on a griddle most have a grease catch tray. If you are trying to keep the grease to cook something else like the sautéd onions and peppers it can pose a problem. Solution: Take aluminum foil and fold in the corners to make it a box shape. Place it on the griddle with your veggies and butter seasonings and problem solved. Easy clean up too. Problem: Out of dryer sheets for static cling. Solution: A piece of aluminum foil balled up and throw it in the dryer. Problem: Out of toothpaste Solution: Baking soda with a little bit of water brush away... Problem: Out of laundry soap Solution: Baking soda, dish soap,Shampoo or liquid body wash. If you like it scented clothes after washing them spray perfume on the clothes when you put them to dry in the dryer or on a towel or paper towel.

Yes some people are extremely wasteful and then they wonder why they are doing without.

@TiarasOceanView Me too but I try to make sure I don't do it too often every now and then I just don't have time or I just throw caution to the wind.
