An Unwelcomed surprise

Yesterday when my son left the house he stated that he saw on the ground near the door what seemed to be a "rat". It wasnt moving and therefore he thought it was dead and was going to take care of it when he came home after school. At the same time my parents had pulled up and my mom said" Oh look a hamster(lol). I heard her from upstairs and by the time I came down they were looking all over around the car for it as it scurried away. I couldnt help but chuckle as she stated that she thought it had escaped/ranaway from a neighbors home(remember she thought it was a hamster). Really? We came to the conclusion that it must have been a mole after seeing an area in the yard where it seemed as thought there was an area a of what seemed to be a little hole. Now the spring/yard cleaning upkeep begins. Ha! Such a cute moment with my parents :)

I am just glad it wasnt me because I would have screamed and tumbled down. Id rather let my son be the hero

I have had hamsters growing up and dont bother me. Rats can go somewhere else besides my house(NO I do not have any in my house) and a mole will destroy my newly planted plants. Ugh!! Time to think of a plan teeheehee

@infatuatedbby I think it was the cuteness and furriness of the hamster and such pets is what didnt scare me but believe me those are few and far in between
