Surprises courtesy of Mylot

Being an old Mylotter (9 years as a member based on my profile), I thought Mylot and I have said our goodbyes way back 2013.
But last night, I received an email from Mylot that a certain member has started to follow me.
I was really surprised to learn that Mylot is still kicking. And I don't mean that in a negative way.
Back to the time when Mylot announced to their members that there will be a big change, well, a lot happened.
Most members made a big exit and went to another site that has now (as I have just learned recently) totally shut down.
So, when I got that email, I immediately clicked the link and discovered that Mylot is still again thriving.
What made it more a good news for me is that friends that I have made from the other site are now Mylotters.
One thing that made me smile was the message corner. As I was checking each one and deleting the spammy kind, I re-read the messages from friends that I have made here in Mylot way back 2007.
Wow! Where did the time go?
Raia, Raijin, Lakota and others more that I'm not sure are still active Mylotters.
And then there's Ate Ingrid whom I have met in the other site but found out last night that she's now a Mylotter : )
Thank you Mylot for the memories way back 2007 and for the future memories I will be making.
And oh by the way, I did miss Sharon Bucks : )

Thank you jin :) Sad story for the ending of the other site. It started so mighty at first but in the end got defeated. I still had less than $50 that I never did get after most members made a huge exit.

My first account back there was terminated but it was my fault. I failed to give the source for the photos I posted and made sure that it came from public domain.
As for my 2nd account, it went well. I received several pay outs from them but when the problems started (spammers for one thing) and pay outs that started to get delayed, I also didn't receive 3 pay outs from them.
No matter how many times I emailed them and explained, I never received my payment.
But my stay at Bubblews was not all bad because I did have fun back there.

@jcj_111776 I recall--- my original account was deleted for reasons I do not know. Then I made one and got deleted again. The third, earned me $.70 only then the site disappeared. I am happy I joined this site, and I made my very first pay-out yesterday with $2.500.
You have less than $50? That is so unfortunate, my friend

Unfortunately when mylot say's it's goodbyes a lot of people left and never came back. Even if mylot had sent them the same notification you have. looking forward to your post in the future.

Raijin and I extended our friendship made here in Mylot... to Facebook. But he's a no-show too at FB unlike from the past 2 years.

@jcj_111776 He used to be one of the most active members, yeah he's inactive too. but i had ten more whom I knew but didn't come back simply because they got better opportunities and greenier pastures.

Thanks Jabo :) Your username looks familiar to me. I think I saw the same name back in the other site. But I did see some old Mylotters here. Some of my old friends though may have already left for good. Their last activity dates back to 2013.

Come to think of it, Mylot's new style feels like I'm in Facebook lol! But it's totally fine with me. Err... well except for the teeny eeny weeny size for the comment box.

Hello arbie :) I am an "ancient" Mylotter hahaha. But by 2012-2013, I started being inactive in such a way that I visit this site once a month. It's so good that we're all here.

Hi Macarrosel :) It's ok if I don't reach the needed amount because I'm having fun right now. Feels like I came back home.
I do need to comment though that this comment box is a little tiny for me. I'm straining my eyes to make sure that I don't make a typo.

Its nice when you go to a site and see familiar names its makes you feel comfortable less alone. What I don't like is that it always seems as if I am always interacting with the same members all the time as if that is the small few that is on the site even though I know that is not the case. I would love a chatbox as well some kind of IM feature but that is just me don't get me wrong I am glad they have the private messages but I like the instant chat capability more.
