I Need a Break

So I'm back. I finished the notifications earlier and took the time to get more of the living room done and work on Scarred.
Now my head feels like it's going to burst, so I'm taking a break from it and seeing what you're up to before I get back to finishing the living room and working more on Scarred.
I'm so happy with the progress. There are less punctuation errors with each set of chapters I send him. Hopefully I'll have Scarred finished by the end of the month so I can move forward to getting the second edition available.
I also need to work on Freedom's Cry. That too is coming along well. I just haven't had time to work on it this week with rearranging the office and trying to get everything sorted and put away that ended up in the living room. So hopefully I'll get more of that done this weekend as well.
I also need to get my laundry done, which I better get started now, or I won't have it done before tomorrow.
So that's been my afternoon. How's your day/night going? Thanks for reading.

It does take the longest. I need to be careful not to run the washer and dryer together or it will blow a circuit. So washing two loads of clothes can take several hours, especially with as old as the dryer is, it takes longer to get the clothes dry, usually a couple hours per load.

My first load of laundry is in the dryer, now all I need to do is not forget it as I get carried away on here. The dryer doesn't go off automatically because it's very old, so I need to pay attention to the fact the clothes are drying.

@Juliaacv That's happened more than once and last night as well. My son did his laundry all day and fell asleep when the last load went into the dryer. I turned the dryer off at 6 this morning. He told me it had been on for 5.5 hours at that point.

I have some speakers in my living room that seem to collect things I don't feel like "finding a home for" yet. We need to take the speakers out of the living room so I am going to need to start picking all that stuff up and finding an actual home for it.

@farbuoloxusy It's amazing what finds it's way to all the flat surfaces in the house.

@just4him My husband always says, "you can cover any flat surface." But 9 out of 10 times its his stuff such as tools that belong in the garage.

Night is falling here. It is all quiet. I´m waiting for my friend. She said she could come until her husband came home from work as she cannot leave her mother unattended.

I've been postponing the dishes. I think I have procrastinated long enough. Now to get up and do those dishes.

@Morleyhunt I'm glad you were able to get them done. I got all of my living room done. I just need to put a couple things in place, but that can wait until morning, just like your pan can.

@just4him I finished most of them. I set the pan I used for Shepherds pie soaking. I'll wash it in the morning.
