Who's Afraid of Spiders?

Are you afraid of spiders? Do you get upset when you see one? Usually, I am not bothered by seeing a spider in the house. I will squash it although I know that spiders are very good since they eat other insects. I have not had the displeasure of encountering a poisonous spider. Black Widows are not welcome here. I would get very anxious if I ever met up with a Black Widow.

I hate spiders! I take off running and screaming my husband thinks its funny but there is nothing funny about that fear. We have black widows outside and in the garage I spray like crazy! Thankfully we have never seen one inside, knock on wood!

I don't blame you. I would be very fearful of seeing a black widow.

@zebra2222 A few years ago a mystery spider bit my finger. I kept complaining that it hurt but it looked pretty normal. My husband kept calling me a baby. Finally in the middle of the night I woke him up saying my finger really hurt. We turned on the light and there was 2 little black dots. We decided to go to the Urgent Care and on the way my whole finger swelled up into a blackish/purplish blister. It was awful and he felt bad for calling me a baby.

I'm glad that there are spiders that kill other insects. However, I don't need them in the house.

The only reason I don´t like spiders is because they are tremendously ugly and some are venomous.

I don't like venomous spiders, but I don't get bothered by small ones that I see in the house every once in awhile.

Spiders are scary. If I see one, I have to use a broom. I need that spider to be out of my room before I could sleep.
