Random Word Post – interlard

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “interlard – To scatter throughout with something different, as for variety.” Years ago, a friend was putting together a book that included recipes from a century ago. Most of which started with a sizable chunk of lard. But apparently that was why everything tasted so good. So maybe interlard some lard in your cooking.
