It has been on the news for so long - the dispute between Philippines and China. Who owns the island? Will it start a war? China has been one of the richest and strongest country in the world. With a huge number of soldiers and powerful machinery : they can take on Philippines easily. Philippines is a growing country. In terms of firepower, it doesnt stand a chance against the giant China. They depend on other countries to protect the country. Will peaceful negotiation settle it? Or will lives be paid for the greed of others. How does the world view the conflict between China and Philippines?

I think it's desperation, if china had not convert their farm lands into buildings (which most are empty btw) and not allow factories to run amok to the point of polluting their environment and nature, they won't go this far as our territoties. I admit it's greed that drove them to take our islands. if they didn't do what they did, there's definitely going to be social unrest there due to lack of resources. we must fight because the chinese govt is dragging us along with their DOOM economic boom.

We cant fight the chinese government. We can only ask for help to other countries. Thats the sad part. Then when we ask for help, other countries will see to it that they will gain more than they will help.

To tell you the truth, I haven't read anything about this conflict in our media lately. Obviously, it doesn't affect Europe. There is so much going on in Europe at the moment what with all the refugees from Syria and Africa that the rest of the world has moved out of focus.

I see. I think every part of the world has issues that is driven by greed. Whats sad is that the strong will always prevail no matter who's right or wrong.
