Braided Ropes out of T-Shirts / myLot

I saw this thing were you cut up old t-shirts in strips & make braided ropes. I was thinking about making one or two for my pup so he can have some toys. To play with & maybe make some to sell. It that a good idea or a bad idea?

I like it. You can also make rugs and plant hangers from the braids with simple macrame techniques. Take them to your local flea market, instant pocket money

i would suggst cutting up large Tshirts,shorted/smaller ones will not look ver neat

I made some by they didn't come out as good as I hope to sell them. But it help me from not spending money on toys for my puppy who chews up all his toys quickly.
