Two Things I can Change This Month

Here goes the April 5th #listersgottalist challenge. There are two things I'm pretty certain I can change this month. One, my hairstyle. Long time ago, I have mentioned here in mylot how I get bored easily with my hairstyle and I change it every 6 months. With a pixie haircut, which I have been sporting since last year, it's very hard to make changes quite often. A month ago, I have already made some changes by perming it. This month, I'm going to have a different color. Two, my sleeping habit. I want to sleep early and fast. When I go to bed, it takes awhile before I could really fall asleep. But this month, I wish to be able to sleep fast and get enough sleep as much as I can. I think yoga would help. Hope you can share two things you can change this month, be it your health, attitude, people, or some things around you.

Two things is also one my hair. I need it shorter and may cut it myself as I know how..just hard to get the back line right. Second is my weight..need to cut more pounds, and am doing a fair job have lost 11lbs in two months. Good luck with your sleeping Toni.

can you send me some of those extra pounds... I am only 48 kilos at 5feet 11 inches and many say I have a zero figure that can even make a skeleton feel embarrassed

I would probably want to change the way I spend. I need to tighten up my budget and clear myself from a lot of bills. Another is I want to live a healthier lifestyle. I need some diet and exercise.

@LdeL0318 that's why I wrote only the easy things that i'm certain I can do because the listersgottalist prompt says TWO THINGS I CAN DO! Hahaha, so they're not actually my goal, but just realistic things that i can really do.

Just like you , it also takes awhile before i could fall asleep . Thus , i lack sleep because i get to sleep late but wake up early . So one change i would like is to be able to sleep early so i can have at least 7 hours of sleep.

I have experienced it too and it was difficult. It makes me very sleepy at work. I wish I could sleep more but I have no other choice but to find a way where I can still be alert even I want to close my eyes to sleep.

I want to change my two things: # I would take out sometime for my family lately I have not been giving much time to them. # I would change my eating schedule as I will fix it as I am having indigestion problem more these days.

Two things I want to change this month, my diet plan and my internet habits. I really need to be more serious about my diet if I want to continue losing weight. Abs are made in the kitchen, so they say. I'm a part of a forum and I engage in 'small talk' with those people. I just want to limit my interaction with them - from slim to zero - don't get me wrong, I love the sense of community but it just takes too much of my time. No, it isn't myLot. So yeah, those two things.

One of my goals for this month is to redo my website. It has been there the same way since the past many years and I have not even bothered to fix the missing pages and what not. So that is definitely on my task list for April. The second goal? Can I have something like find out some goal for month of May as my April Goal ?

@just4him These days I fall asleep fast. Before i started doing yoga, it was difficult for me to sleep, I couldn't even take a nap during the day even if i wanted to. But these days, I noticed that it's easy for me to fall asleep.

I want to change my sleeping habit too. I should hit the bed at 9PM and wake up at 6AM but I still stay up late at night (blame this on TV series that I am fond of). Another one is my weight. I have to eat right so I can regain my weight back

9pm! Nowadays 9pm is too early for bed for me. I usually go to bed at 11 and then wake up before 6am. Hope you'll be successful in things you want to change this month. Good luck!

@toniganzon the problem with me is I play some games to doze off. I still wake up early at 5AM probably because I miss waking up at 4:30 when I have my duty at 7AM

I know. But I believe I can do it this month because I'm going to yoga class nowadays and according to what I have read and learned, it does help with sleeping.

@miniam I noticed from the time I started yoga that I can easily fall asleep. Now I just have to adjust the time of my work so that I could go to bed early.

I always like pixie hairstyle, I think it's easy to take care and comfortable as well. But I agree with you, it might not be easy to make change. Yes, I think yoga will help you to fall asleep easily. I remember when I attended the yoga class, after practicing, we just lied down on the ground and rested, and I easily fell asleep. For me, I'd like to (1) meditate daily (2) stay focus or be more mindful. Good luck to you and me!

Change does break one's monotony. I too have been growing my hair which is not normal. But now I feel like cutting it again as it is quite hot here now.

I'm making a serious effort to cut down on caffeine. It's hard but cutting it in half would be a good start. The second thing is to read. I used to read 3-5 books a week. This winter I barely managed 1 a month. I miss it.
