~Am I The Only One Who Didn't Know This?~

I was on Facebook earlier, making sure I didn't have any new messages from anyone. Someone commented on my Date Night Childcare ad and she told me she sent me a message. Her message was nowhere to be found! 
So I clicked on show all messages, then I clicked on more options-and there was a filtered section under that-tada her message was there. I am guessing that's where messages go when your not friends with someone and they message you. I had no idea of this until I accidentally found it today! LOL
Am I the only one that did not know about this secret "Filtered" section?

I found out anout the "other" messages about a year ago, when I was selling something and someone sent me a private message and I couldnt find it, she told me to check my "other" messages. Only thing is, I can't get to those messages through my cell phone, I have to be on my home computer.

I didn't know of it for a while until about a week ago when I saw the option of viewing spam messages filtered messages and message request and in there I had tons of messages dating months back that I never even knew about some also important which really annoyed me.

@JonnyRich Yeah FB should do a better job of telling people about the different folders so we don't miss anything important!

I think that you can make it so all messages come to straight away. Not just the messages from friends. But that is up to you.

We all are first timers for many things.
A very similar thing happened with me too, though no one called. On another share, this person re-appeared and mentioned that I had not replied to his earlier message. After some tries I almost gave up. Luckily, I found another friend who mentioned me where the messages from non friends actually land up.

@SIMPLYD Yes there is. We are not notified of the messages that go to that folder actually. That's why I had no idea about her message.

You are not the only that did not know about it, because I still do not understand how to find it. LOL I am a slow learner I guess. I do not see any place that says show all messages.

@slund2041 It's okay, when you hit the messages it shows up as a small screen first. At the bottom of that small screen, you hit see all at the bottom. It will bring you to your messages page. At the top of that page you will see more next to an arrow, in there you will see filtered.
