I look at the driver with glaring eyes…

I have been doing this several times since this morning. I look at the driver of each vehicle that stops just in front of our gate and play loudly the political advertisement of the mayoralty candidates here in my place. I understand that the cars should all be mobile in spreading the campaign of the candidates, but these cars stop right in front of our gate and play the songs with altered lyrics for the candidates. My sister always says it is their right because the cars are on the roads, but why should they stop for 30 minutes and play so loud the campaign songs to the point of causing traffic here in our provincial road? Therefore, every now and then, I go out, and start staring at these drivers, and most of the time, I am successful in ‘sending them off’. Do you do this too?

I join the road trips of the candidate I am supporting but the cars are always on the go, and when we stop, we talk to the people but the sound system is off.

i know you too well, my friend, and I believe you that your vehicle does not stop with loudspeakers on, because you have to be conscious of the people's feelings, right?

we have loud political campaigners, too, driving around the neighborhood. sometimes i loooong motorcade. what annoys us are the announcements from the barangay. we wish they'd stop and finish what they're announcing so we can hear it in full.

well, they speak in the vernculars, my friend, a dialect I cannot fully understand. And that son accompanied with a guitar plus the voice of an old man, My God, I want to jump at the driver and shout at him.

Ha, ha, you give me some hints to do it also when there's some drivers who park outside our house and in front of my store playing some songs for the candidates, very annoying to hear. I can imagine how you glare and make your eyes wide that makes the drivers go away.

you should see me open my eyes so wide with my right eyebrow raised, my friend. They leave the area at once.

LOL oh that is so funny that you go out and stare at them until they leave. You have guts! I don't understand why they stop in front of your house to play this music. It seems so rude. Shouldn't they stop somewhere else and listen to it or turn it down so you don't have to listen to it? I had a neighbor who was living in her car and in the winter to keep warm she would turn the car on and let it run and listen to the music really loud at about 3 am and wake the whole neighborhood up.

My friend I can almost picture in my mind your wide opened eyes while glaring at those drivers. You are like my eldest sister. She hates those noisy campaign songs because they really are very disturbing.

My sister does. They are very disturbing. That may be the reason why I won't vote for them LOL.

They use to do this back in 2010, I retaliated by putting some sound system of my own campaigning for my candidate they can't do that anymore, because it disrupts business. they can just post some banners and tarpulines.

I'ts good our house is a little far from the road. I might do that too if they stay in front of our gate. I am very sensitive to noise.
