Listening to an 'old' soundtrack, brings back memories.

This afternoon I listened to the soundtrack from one of my fave films, 'Empire Records'. So many good tunes on there that were only fleeting in the film, and memories of the time back in the 90's when things were very different, it was a very enjoyable hour or so! Do you remember Empire Records? Did you like it? What is your favourite soundtrack?

All my favourite tracks tend to be from the 70s

For me, an "old" soundtrack is The Sound of Music. I think my favorite soundtracks are O Brother, Where Art Thou, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Fiddler on the Roof. As for a movie that had great songs in it that weren't recorded just for that movie (the way those listed above were), I'd go with American Graffiti or The Big Chill. Love those old 50s and 60s songs.

Yes, I put old in inverted commas as to a lot on here the 90's is ancient lol. O Brother, Where Art Thou is excellent.
