A Selfie-sh Generation!

I used to click my own picture with mobile phone a few years ago, then the word selfie was not known. I just loved to click the shots, those were not intended to post now and then 
!
Sooner or later, I found that the social media was being flooded with such self-clicked pictures, called selfie.
Sometimes I wonder what new aspects selfie has added to our lives! With selfie, you get the opportunity of
1. telling the world (and perhaps to yourself) that you exist
2. proving that you were truly there! (in some party/ some event/ even in some site of disaster!)
3. making faces at who knows whom!, for no reason at all!

1. To annoy people with their pouty faces. Really its not all that cool or sexy or whatever they might think.
2. To pass the time. LOL And to waste the time!
3. To show off. This is the most likely reason. LOL Facebook is filled with it.
4. To appear all sauve and wannabe. *insert eye roll*
Seriously, selfies are okay. But abundance of selfie and the current obsession with it going around is NOT okay. Total put off and annoying as hell.

I think it takes guts to post a picture of yourself. So in my opinion we are a brave generation!
